
Marc Herlant
Marc Herlant holds a Master in Business Engineering (MBA) from the Solvay Business School, complemented by a Master in Tax Management (ULB) and a degree in pharmaceutical business management (IFB Ghent). He began his career in industry with 3M and Novartis, followed a consulting career of nearly thirty years: Partner at PwC Consulting/IBM, eleven years as Partner & Managing Director at The Boston Consulting Group, Partner at Arthur D. Little, and founding Partner of EY-Parthenon in Belgium. His functional home ground: large-scale transformations, carve-outs and post-merger integrations, operations and supply chain - chiefly in life sciences, consumer health, mobility and consumer products, serving corporates and private equity firms across Europe. In 2026 he published The Super-Enterprise (Bocconi Univeristy Press), a strategic roadmap for organisations in the AI era. Its central message: winning with AI is not a technology problem, but a human challenge of leadership, talent and organisation. Today Marc works as an independent senior advisor to investors, boards and CEOs on value creation, AI readiness and related mandates.
